We aim to attract and retain the best people and then create an environment where they are supported and encouraged to do their best. Here are just some ways we support our terrific team of people:

Induction - We make sure all new team members are given the best possible start in our business. We provide everyone with a comprehensive induction to their jobs and The Warehouse.

Buddies - We aim to have all our new team members in stores up and running quickly. We do this through buddying them up with someone who can show them the ropes.

Careers - We pride ourselves on being able to create careers for our team members rather than simply jobs. Many of our team members have started at The Warehouse doing part time jobs in stores and worked their way into satisfying long-term careers with us.

Training and development programmes - Each team member has a regular review with their manager where opportunities are identified and discussed.

Future potential - Our talent identification programme looks at ways we can identify and continue to develop the great people within our teams. People identified as having high potential are invited onto accelerated development programmes which are designed to move them through the organisation more quickly.
