StoreWhether you're a new team member or an experienced manager, you'll have an Individual Development Plan which helps you to develop your skills and reach your full potential.

Not only do we provide on-the-job training, as you work alongside experienced managers, but we also offer a wide variety of in-house programmes which cater to all levels - Customer Service Skills, Project Management and Driving Business Performance are just a small sample.

We encourage our team members to be responsible for driving their own development.  By using their initiative, they can get the most out of the opportunities we have on offer and really build their career with us.  We provide assistance through regular reviews with their direct Manager or there's always the People Support team who are willing to help.

Store Support Office

Achieving through Influence 

Influencing upwards and across teams is a vital skill for our managers. This course helps managers build their capability in influencing, increase their credibility and broaden their impact across the business.

Presentation Skills

In many Support Office based roles, it is a regular requirement to present information to others. Whether It’s influencing senior leaders to consider your proposal in a positive light, or inform your team about a change that will affect them, being able to present in an engaging way is a very useful skill to have.

Getting the Message Across

Our managers are renowned for their ability to communicate well. This programme focuses on helping our managers get their message across in a clear and succinct way.

Operations

Business Process Training

These are foundation courses for all our team members, focusing on critical skills for success on the job. These include customer service, health and safety, loss prevention and merchandising.

Operations Leadership Development

The Warehouse is in an exciting phase.  We want our people to be the best and we do this by providing programmes of learning to help them develop. 

We're in the early stages of launching a new complete programme of learning specifically designed to help the management team members in our stores achieve excellence in their role and develop the right skills and behaviours at each level.    Each management level will have their own tiered programme of modules allowing our team members to enjoy developing skills in areas like; feedback and coaching, developing your team, personal productivity, purposeful conversations, driving business performance, delegation, retail fundamentals,  recruiting and many more.  The main emphasis will be on developing leadership skills!
