What do we do?
We aim to provide a unique shopping experience where we make the desirable affordable for all our customers. Our goal is to simplify the shopping experience for our customers to find what they are looking for and to have a variety of products on the shelves for customers to choose from at the right price.
Our 'Extra' stores include an extended range which provides our customers with even more selection.
How do we support the business?
- Selling the right products at the right price.
- Ensuring availability of all of our products for our customers to buy everyday.
- Promoting a range of key promotional products for a variety of events throughout the year such as Halloween, Christmas, 'Back to School' and Valentines Day.
- Providing exceptional customer service to all our customers.
What's special about us?
- We have over 90% of the New Zealand population through our stores over any three month period.
- We have 24,000 customers through our Sylvia Park store in any week.
- We sell more music and toys than any other retailer in the country.
- Stephen Tindall started the business over 26 years ago funded in part, by selling the family caravan and his wife's car.
- Our stores support fund raising initiates in our communities through sausage sizzles, selling products to support our charities at checkout and 'mucking in' for community causes locally.

We offer a variety of roles in store from team members and specialists such as pharmacists through to Store Managers responsible for over 100 people. There is huge variety and opportunity in a store environment to gain customer service and leadership experience in a fast paced and fun environment. We employ people on a full time and part time basis which often appeals to return to work parents, students and semi retired people.
