Some common questions:

Where can I use my Red Card?

 

At any The Warehouse or Warehouse Stationery store in New Zealand.


Can I use my card on the Internet?

 

Yes, your Red Card can now be used to shop online on The Warehouse online store.


Can I withdraw cash at an ATM?

 

No, you can only use your Red Card for purchases at the above stores.


Can I get a PIN?

 

No.


Can I transfer from one of my existing credit cards?

 

No, you cannot transfer balances from other existing cards onto your Red Card.

If you wish to do so, you will need to first convert your Red Card into a The Warehouse MasterCard by completing an Information Update Form

Once this is done, you can then transfer balances from your other existing cards to your new MasterCard. You can transfer from as many cards as you like - up to your credit limit.
Note that MasterCard Conditions of Use differ from Red Card Conditions of Use.


Is there an annual fee?

 

No.


Can we have a joint account?

 

No, but you can apply for additional cardholders.


Can I have a second cardholder on my account?

 

Yes, as long as they're over 16. They will share your credit limit but you'll be responsible for all their transactions. We'll only take instructions from you, the principal cardholder, but we can give out information to other users of your account.


How often will I need to pay my bill?

 

Once a month after you've received your statement. You can choose to pay the minimum payment due or any other amount you want – up to the full balance.


Five ways to make a payment?

 

There are 5 different ways:

• Direct debit – call us on 0800 887 887 and we will send a direct debit form to you. The Direct Debit payment option will enable you to set up minimum payments, a fixed amount or to repay the outstanding amount in full each month.
• At any Westpac branch – you can repay your account using cash or your eftpos card. You will need to bring your card or monthly statement to any Westpac branch nationwide. To find where the nearest Westpac branch is located, call us on 0800 887 887.
• Telephone banking - you can call your bank and arrange repayment to your credit card account.
• Internet banking – if you are registered for internet banking, you can repay all or part of your credit card balance via online banking.
• Automatic payment – you can set up an automatic payment at any of your bank’s branches, or via internet banking if you are registered.

If you are setting up a Bill Payee, your bank may have your card type loaded as either:
The Warehouse Financial Services,
The Warehouse Card, or
The Warehouse MasterCard

If your bank does not have your credit card already loaded, all the information you will need to set up internet, telephone or automatic repayments is as follows:

ACCOUNT NUMBER: 03 0990 0998907 082

ACCOUNT NAME: Credit Card Payments

PARTICULARS: First 8 digits of your card number

CODE: Last 8 digits of your card number

REFERENCE: Your name


Do you charge late payment fees?

 

If you have not paid the minimum amount due by the payment due date on your statement you will be charged late payment fees.


What if I am returning a product for a refund?

 

If a Warehouse store needs to give you a refund they need the till receipt – just having your account statement with you won’t do.

How can I make changes to my account?

 

Download an Information Update Form and fill in the appropriate sections to make the following changes
• Name changes
• Address changes
• Credit card limit changes
• To add an additional cardholder.
