If you purchased a Navman MY50 between 26/10/2011 and 31/01/2012 you are eligible to claim an additional 3 year’s NZ map subscription. Simply complete the official claim form online and include their serial number (found on the base of their device), receipt number, and details of their store of purchase.

Claim forms must be received before 5pm on the 29th February 2012. Government/commercial sales, and purchases in conjunction with any other offer or promotional bundle are not eligible for this offer. Each customer may claim this offer on a maximum of two of their eligible purchases.
 
Map updates will be available to download via the web. Please note that, due to the size of the map updates, the use of broadband internet connection for map update downloads is strongly recommended. Successful claimants will be advised by email to download their new maps when they are available for the 36 months following the date of purchase (map updates are available from Navman at least twice annually with a maximum of 12 maps over 36 months).

Terms & Conditions:

The Promotion
1. Under this promotion ("Promotion"), eligible persons ("Claimants") may, by submitting a claim in accordance with these terms & conditions ("Terms"), obtain from the Promoter an additional year's subscription to map updates ("Additional Subscription Year") for up to two Qualifying Devices.
2. Information on how to claim, and other details contained within promotional advertisements for this Promotion form part of these Terms. By submitting a claim in connection with this Promotion, or using an Additional Subscription Year received under this promotion, you acknowledge that you have read, understand and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
3. In these Terms:
(a) the "Promoter" is Navman Technology NZ Ltd of 7 – 11 Kawana Street, Northcote Auckland New Zealand;
(b) the "Promotional Period" is 23 December 2011 to 31 January 2012; and
(c) the "Qualifying Device" is the Navman MY50, when purchased new by the Claimant from a participating store during the Promotional Period, but excluding where those devices are purchased through eBay, TradeMe on e-purchases, in a government or commercial sale, from any other third party new or used, or in conjunction with any other offer or promotional bundle.

4. A subscription to map updates from the Promoter allows the subscriber to download updates to the preloaded map sold with their Qualifying Device for the duration of the subscription.
5. Claimants acknowledge and agree that:
(a) generally, map updates are available from the Promoter a minimum of twice annually and up to 12 times over 36 months;
(b) to download map updates from the Promoter:
(i) a PC (running Microsoft Windows XP or higher) and internet connection is required, and the Promoter strongly recommends that only a broadband internet connection is used;
(ii) the Claimant is responsible for obtaining, using and paying for that internet access; and
(iii) the Claimant must install the NavDesk PC software supplied with the Qualifying Device;
(c) map downloads require sufficient memory on the Qualifying Device, and Claimants may need to use an appropriate microSD card to store and access the downloads if their device’s internal memory is not sufficient; and
(d) microSD cards are sold separately from, and are not provided with, Qualifying Devices, or as part of this Promotion.
Claim Process and Provision of map updates
6. To claim an Additional Subscription Year a Claimant must complete and submit the official online claim form at www.navman.co.nz ("Claim Form"), so that it is received by the Promoter by 5.00pm on 29 February 2012. The Claimant must provide the serial number of the Qualifying Device (found on the base of the Qualifying Device), the receipt number from the store of purchase, details of that store, and any other information required by the Claim Form.
7. Claim Forms will be deemed to be accepted at the time of receipt and not at the time of transmission, and the Promoter is not responsible for any transmission difficulties or issues in relation to the availability of the website at www.navman.co.nz (which the Claimant acknowledges and agrees may be unavailable from time to time for maintenance or for reasons beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter).
8. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible Claim Forms will be deemed invalid.
9. To obtain the map update corresponding to their Additional Subscription Year, successful Claimants must:
(a) download that map update by 31 December in the relevant year (or, if earlier, within 40 months of their purchase of the relevant Qualifying Product or until that map is superseded)
Eligibility
10. To be eligible for an Additional Subscription Year, the Qualifying Device must be purchased by a Claimant for personal, domestic, consumer and non-commercial use from any participating store during the Promotional Period.
11. Each person may claim this offer on a maximum of two of their Qualifying Devices.
12. The Promoter reserves the right at any time to verify the validity of any Claimant or Claim Form (including the Claimant's identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any Claimant who submits a Claim Form that is not in accordance with these Terms or who tampers with the claim process. For the avoidance of doubt, the Promoter may monitor and
record internet protocol addresses of a Claimant when completing the Claim Form.
Collection of Information and Marketing
13. The Promoter may use personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, which may be off-shore, including but not limited to, its suppliers and as required, to New Zealand regulatory authorities. Acceptance of any Claim Form and the provision of any Additional Subscription Year is conditional upon the Claimant providing this information. Unless otherwise advised, the Promoter may, for an indefinite period, use the information contained in a Claim Form for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes including sending electronic messages or telephoning the Claimant ("Communications"). The Claimant acknowledges that by submitting the Claim Form the Claimant has specifically granted consent to its receipt of any Communications.
14. Claimants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter.
15. All Claim Forms become the property of the Promoter.
General
16. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
17. These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with New Zealand law. The Claimant agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the tribunals and courts New Zealand with respect to any claim or matter arising out of or in connection with the terms.
