Update 14 June - 11:30 AM

Overnight our Store Managers have been in touch with the majority of our team members and thankfully they are all safe and well. Store Managers will contact the remainder of our team today.

Some of our team are without water, sewage and in some instances power. Liquefaction has affected some team members especially those in the Eastern suburbs and there has been a few instances of damage to homes.

We now have a team in Christchurch, including Property, Store Development, Structural Engineers, Operations and People Support, to assist our stores and team members. A programme is in place to check the stores for structural building and racking safety. Hornby, Rolleston and Riccarton have been checked and given the all clear to open.

Our team will continue to check all other affected stores today. Store managers will contact their team to discuss returning to work, and we ask that all team members stay at home until then. The wellbeing of our team comes first and we understand that some team members may not feel able to return to work when contacted. All team members who are scheduled to work will continue to be paid.
