Applying for Finance

Once you have identified which product you would like to buy online with finance, you will need to get our website to calculate the freight cost so you can add this to the amount financed.  Follow these steps:

1. Click Add to Cart. At this point you may want to copy the product description and barcode to use on the finance application form later in the process.

2. Go to the Checkout and work through the pages to the Delivery page and enter the delivery address and click Continue to go to the Order Summary page.  This will calculate the actual freight cost (note that the site shows an estimated cost only up until this point).

3. This is as far as you need to go on The Warehouse website at this point.  Do not complete the order – we will do this once the finance is approved.

4. Click through to www.gilrosefinance.co.nz.

5. When asked to select the store, select Online Sales @ The Warehouse from the drop down menu.

6. Complete the form showing the full product detail including the barcode (paste the product detail and barcode  in the Description of Goods field).

7. In the Value of Goods field enter the total amount of the product cost and the delivery as shown on the Order Summary page.

8. Leave the Deposit field blank as it is not possible to pay a deposit when applying online.

9. The form will be sent electronically to Gilrose for approval.

10. Gilrose assess your application and either approve or decline it and will email you accordingly within 15 minutes (during business hours).  Gilrose’s business hours are 9am to 9pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 7pm weekends.

11. The Warehouse will email you the contract for signing. Note that you will need to have it witnessed by someone aged 21 or over.

12. Return the signed form to The Warehouse either by scanning and emailing, faxing or sending the original signed copy in. Note that the form cannot be taken into a store.

13. We will ship the goods to you.
