Gold

Our gold is sourced from all over the globe. The majority of our chains comes from Italy, and our solid bangles are made here in New Zealand or in Australia. The buyer attends the major international trade fairs around the globe (Italy, Thailand, Hong Kong) to source the latest trends, and work directly with the suppliers to get the best deal. We pass on the savings to our customers.

Sterling Silver

Our sterling silver is sourced from mainly Thailand. We work with factories and cut out the middle man, once again allowing us to have the best pricing around. Silver is a fun area and allows jewellery to be trendy without the huge price tag.

Pearls

All of our pearls are cultured in fresh water, the majority of cultured fresh water pearl farms we buy from are in China. The way they are cultured allows the pearls to have a lovely lustre. Pearls that are coloured are often dyed, allowing trendy colours to become part of your jewellery wardrobe. Our designs are often inspired by what the celebrities are wearing.

Stainless Steel

Stainless is a very strong material, and does not tarnish (unlike silver). These days top designer labels are making jewellery pieces in stainless steel. We gather a lot of our inspiration from them. Traditionally targeted at men for its durability, we have introduced a fabulous ladies range. The colour of the steel gives it a nice, “white gold” look. Our new range is doing well- we invite you to view the fabulous pieces available!

Branded Watches

We have a great range of watches available both on our website and in stores. All watches on our website are genuine brands which we have parallel imported into New Zealand. All our branded watches are covered under The Warehouse 12 month guarantee. We endeavour to bring our customers the latest watch designs at low prices. The reason we parallel import is because local watch dealers refuse to sell to The Warehouse, as other major jewellery chains won’t allow it . This only makes us at The Warehouse more determined to bring you the latest designs at even lower prices!

Watch Water Resistance

Water resistance for a watch is measured in atmospheric pressure (ATM). Each watch is placed under a static test. A rating of 50 metres does not mean that your can actually take the watch 50 metres under the water. Atmospheric pressure is based on the amount of pressure being applied to a watch. This means that if you are standing in knee high water that is slow moving it will have a lower pressure rating than if you are standing in knee height fast moving water.

Below is a good guide for what each rating means;
