- Use fans

- No shade around? Create shade using pop up tents, sun umbrellas, big brimmed hats, hanging sheets, towels or blankets over windows when in the car, and pull curtains in your home while leaving windows and doors open.

- While working on your computer, it’s a great idea to take advantage of our USB powered fan! It’ll help you keep you cool, calm, and collected while you’re typing away.

Cooling Essentials

- Use the heat to your advantage, and save power at the same time! Let your dishes and clothes air dry during the day, and only use your dishwasher and dryer when you need it in the evenings.

- Take cold showers. This will cool you down, and rinse off sweat from the day.

- Want to work out without getting too hot? Try out water-based workouts instead of hitting the gym! You could test out surfing, paddle boarding, swimming, kayaking, and water aerobics.

- Put a cool towel or running water over your wrists, temples, and feet.

- Place your pillowcases and sheets in plastic bags, and place them in the freezer. This way your bed will be nice and cool when you tuck yourself in after a long day in the heat.

- Drink coconut water

- Drink lots of water. Don’t wait until you feel thirsty to drink water. If you don’t hydrate regularly you may experience cramps

- Find it hard to drink lots of water? Add a bit of flavour! Infuse your water with fresh fruits – great additions include mint, citrus, and seasonal fruits.
