It looks really nice, a great display piece
I saw this was available and felt it would make a great addition to the growing Lego display of places around the world.

I think it should have had a sticker with Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. It really does need that.

This is a really nice set and I have it by my door welcoming people to my home.

Amazing Detail to Lady Liberty
My daughter, 15 years old, and I enjoy building Lego Architectural sets together. We have completed most of the sets and we both agree Lady Liberty has the best detail of any of the sets thus far. Having no face is a little odd, but we really enjoyed our time building this one. Bravo Lego!

Not enjoyable and not display worthy
This was not fun to put together and also is not an attractive set. The city skylines sets are all interesting but this looks like a sketch drawing or cartoon. There is no face to lady liberty and the whole body is shapeless. Not a good effort from lego.

Lady liberty at her finest
As Architecture sets go this one really is a true testament to how far the theme has come in recent years. The details on this beautiful set are absolutely incredible! And the size of the structure is decent too. Also some of the techniques used to construct the set are very very impressive, there's alot of repitition building in the plinth section but that is to be expected given the source material. And the inclusion of so many new pieces in sand green is going to be a huge bonus to many MOC Fans out there. I applaud the design crew who worked on this beautiful work of art. My advice to anybody that is going to build this is simply to take your time, as when you are constructing lady liberty it is easy to lose track and make a small mistake here and there.. don't rush the build just do it at your leisure and enjoy it. Nice one Lego.. you've done it again

The Most Patriotic Set from Architecture so far!
The LEGO Architecture Statue of Liberty will catch in eye in any house and it is instantly recognizable. Fans have complained about the lack of a face but I for one find it okay at this scale. The model consists of two main colors-tan and sand green, with some red, yellow, blue, and black used on the inside. Every detail on this model is absolutely, one-hundred percent accurate. Having visited the actual thing in New York City, I can tell you that the model has every detail captured perfectly. My favorite is layer of detail is the balcony level of the pedestal. For your money, the price-per-piece ratio is good however there are many small pieces as one can expect in an architecture set. The green 2x1 curved slopes are very numerous in the set and, take it from me, pay very careful attention to the one the instructions are asking you to place as I neared the end I had the wrong type left and I had to backtrack and I eventually found my error but just pay attention.

Intricate, impressive, worth the money.
When the set was originally released, I decided not to buy it as I felt the piece count may be just that high for the cost. I ended up in the Lego store right after the holiday, saw it built and decided to buy it. I am glad I did. All of the pieces make the build very detailed and beautiful, and the cost worth it. I was impressed with how the weaving of the statue was done and the techniques used. There were times I found myself thinking "wow, that was pretty cool how they did that". The base is very detailed and you can tell great care was taken in designing it by the creators. I expected many more repetitive steps, but was extremely surprised that the amount of "duplicate" steps was not very high. I took my time building it, splitting it across a couple days (base one day, statue the other). The face being a blank plate wasn't that big of a deal for me. I can't really tell how to make a face detailed enough to match the rest of the build at that small of a scale. I think a sticker plate would have made it even less pleasing.

I think this is a good build for any avid Lego builder, and is a nice set to build with a family member. The set also fits in nicely with the other architecture sets. I read some of the reviews prior to starting the build, and am glad I did. As mentioned, one of the best suggestions is in the later bags the curved green pieces are split between two bags. They are spilt by the way they "point", so it will reduce the risk of headaches and mistakes if you keep them separate.

I absolutely love this set. It is easily in my top 5. I love how it captures the essence of the real statue. Looking at it you can instantly recognize what it represents without it trying to be a direct copy. It truly feels like a peace of art.

Fun to build, but could be improved.
My partner and I enjoyed building the statue set. The level of detail we usually see from Lego was present, but they left the face of the statue a bit abstract (which is odd considering the detail that went into the torch). Otherwise its still a great set and worth collecting.
