Fun build
Definitely a fun build with many techniques being used, keeping it interesting.
The end result, the main section of the clock tower looks great, I will use it as a stand alone in my LEGO... when that happens?

Hogwarts expands!!
I never was a fan of the Yule Ball (not a fan of social occasions). However, this set is a nice one. The detail of the tables and dancing floor are really nice, and the fact that you can add them or not to the whole is great. This brings me to the modularity of the whole Hogwarts set, and it's bloody brilliant. I'm dreaming of a huuuuuge very detailed Hogwarts and that's exactly what is happening. The only concern is that it seems to expand in length but not in width, meaning it unfolds like a 2D Hogwarts with 3D details, if that makes any sense. At some point I'll probably change that myself :P
The Clock Tower actually dwarves the Great Hall tower, but it's not a major concern. Waiting to build the Astronomy Tower which should dwarf both of them lol .
Great new rooms! Hospital Wing (the lamps are a great find), Prefects Bathroom (unfortunately not useable because just a wee bit not deep enough, but the taps and the mermaid are brilliant; I'll build myself a larger tap using light-sabers as other colour water), and Moody's Classroom! Dumbledore's office is circular, and has two levels, which is really great, and the stickers are nice too, though a buildeable Fawkes could have done the trick too.
I love how the whole Hogwarts seems to become more Creator-styled, like the build of the Christmas tree and the Yule Ball Great Hall Tables. Wish it'd go on like that, it's way more interesting!
The minifigs are great, though the choice of Krum's head (notably facial expresssion) is a bit weird.
All in all, good job, Lego, and I'm just hoping this doesn't stop!

Awesome Clock Tower
So happy that Lego started making more Harry Potter sets. Excited to collect as I go along.
Winter Theme. Many minifigures. Nice prints on them. Nice add on to Great Hall. Can't wait to build soon.

The Clock Tower Set
I really liked the Harry Potter Clock Tower set. I have the Harry Potter Womping Willow and Great Hall set, so I am glad you can connect them to create a giant Hogwarts set. I love how the Yule ball spins and turns, although I hoped that the clock hands would move differently on the tower.

Great but for one thing...
I love this Harry Potter series, have the Great Hall, Womping Willows and Clock Tower and their quite impressive when you put them all together. Overall it is a fun and like able build with not to many large pieces making it also somewhat challenging. It would be a five star review but for ONE super annoying thing that would seem so EASY to get right.
THE STICKERS BACKGROUND ARE NOT THE SAME COLOR AS THE LEGO.
First of all, Iâm not a fan of the stickers and prefer them printed on the LEGO piece. But come on, at least get the color nuances right so that it has a chance to blend in when on the piece. Now you clearly see itâs a stickers and it looks bad.
Sorry LEGO, but please
Try to improve on this!
Hoping for more great HP sets in the future.

Amazing Addition to the Current Hogwarts Castle
I was so happy in 2018 when Lego Harry Potter returned. Building Hogwarts Great Hall and Whomping Willow were such fantastic experiences. So many fun details and they really do put you into that universe. So when the Clocktower was announced I was just happy to get anything else to add to it.
Honestly it does not look too impressive to me in the photos or on the box art. It is decent but does not really stand out like previous two. However, once I started building this my mind changed very quickly. This is built (like the Whomping Willow) in multiple sections that are modular like the Creator buildings. Once you have built each section you have lots of options on how you want to configure your personal Hogwarts for either play or display, or both.
Each section of this particular set is unique and contains many of the wonderful interior areas of the castle including the bathhouse, Dumbledore's office and the DADA classroom. I love all of the little details that add to the Hogwarts ambiance. Also, more specific to a particular film is the ball from Goblet of Fire. The build and the dancing feature are actually very impressive as are the table and the Christmas tree. They really are quite fun and beautiful. Personally I wish this section was not so specific (same issue with the minfigs). That said, what has been done here is very, very nice.
The exterior looks awesome on each section and all of it is fun to build. I actually had as much fun building this as I did "An Unexpected Gathering," which to date is my favorite Lego set of all time. I really cannot stress how fun the build is on this one. Little variances in the techniques keep it interesting, and seeing each of the rooms come together was just so rewarding.
I like all of the minifigs in this for the most part. On one hand it is really nice to get the Yule Ball versions of these characters (something different). On the other, I think I would have preferred something else. Just personal preference here. Dumbledore, Harry and Ron look great. Cedric, the tall lady (sorry her name always eludes me) and Fleur are decent as well. Hermoine looks nice but her dress is an odd choice using a standard 1x2 with print for her legs and then a 1x2 plate for her shoes and to make her height appropriate. Neat idea.... A for effort and creativity but it looks a little weird to me. Viktor's torso is great, face acceptable, and bottom also fine. Using Finn's hair for him does not look right to me. I know this was chosen probably to keep cost down but maybe future Viktor's will look a little more like him in the hair and face dept.
Overall I loved building this and the way it looks combined with my other Hogwarts sets. I am really hoping this trend continues with the "Modular Hogwarts" builds for many years in the future. I am just going to have to get a larger table to display it on!
Keep up the good work Lego and PLEASE keep these Hogwarts sets comings. I know I am not the only one who is loving this.
Now, if we can just get back to competing the Lord of the Rings line.........

Great Exterior!
I thought the exterior of this set was incredible, along with most of the interiors! But, as a Die-hard Harry Potter fan I thought the dance table was a total eyesore and a waste of pieces. I mean come on. You could have given us a much more interesting build or a larger and more detailed perfects bathroom. I also have got to say that all the Minifigures were amazing! But, in my opinion, the Minifigures are very seasonal and don't go along with the rest of the build.

A Great Set for "Goblet of Fire" fans!
With "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" being my favorite of the Potter films, I've been eagerly awaiting this set's release, and I am pleased to say I was not disappointed. LEGO has really outdone themselves, giving fans a set that does an excellent job of recreating the look and atmosphere of the film while also being a great addition to any of the existing Hogwarts Castle sets.
As an experienced LEGO builder, the build went pretty quickly, roughly 2.5-3 hours, though I opted to build only the main Clock Tower and not the additional tower or Great Hall dance floor, finding them a bit cramped. That being said, the Clock Tower is an impressive piece both inside out, with a lot of nice architectural details that give it a gorgeous silhouette, and room for three fairly large rooms inside, courtesy of the piece's majestic height.
While LEGO could have easily rehashed the same layout of 2004's Clock Tower, with this set, weâre given three brand-new rooms in Hogwarts (the Hospital Wing, the Prefectâs Bathroom, and Moodyâs Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom), as well as a different take on Dumbledoreâs office, a Clock Tower entrance hall, and a partial Great Hall with icy arches and a dance floor to represent the Yule Ball. While the rooms themselves could have been a bit deeper in my opinion, itâs the details that make them so special. In the Hospital Wing (which is located, to my delight, on the same floor as shown in the films!), we get two beds with green âsheetsâ, side-tables with lamps, and even curtains. The DADA classroom has a great blackboard complete with Moody's scrawly handwriting detailing the Unforgivable Curses, a nice desk with a quill pen and book, and a table full of Dark Detectors and other objects. Even the relatively bare Clock Tower entrance hall comes with a trunk (presumably to keep Mad-Eye Moody in!) and the Goblet of Fire itself.
The secondary tower is disappointingly cramped, but still has some great rooms. The Prefectâs Bathroom is probably my favorite of all, with a bathtub, taps with flowing water, and even a mermaid âstained-glassâ window, just like in the film. The partial Great Hall comes with two tables topped with movie-accurate icy centerpieces and a Christmas tree. And, while a bit small, Dumbledore's office has a new desk chair and desk, as well as some great stickers representing the arched room shown in the film.
While the small size of the secondary tower is a bit disappointing, the large Clock Tower rooms more than make up for it. I decided to co-opt the DADA space as the new Prefect's Bathroom, which in my opinion looks much better, and allows the beautiful stained-glass window to be the main focus of the room. It also looks great when viewed through the tall window on the exterior! Using the new accessories and stickers, I've had fun supplementing my existing (and more movie-accurate) Dumbledoreâs Tower from the 2010 Hogwarts Castle set (4842) and DADA classroom. Iâve even gone so far as to decorate my Great Hall for the Yule Ball, using the tables, Christmas tree, and icy arches; I love it so much, I might just leave it like this year-round!
Aside from the Clock Tower itself, the eight unique minifigures are reason enough to buy this set. Itâs great to have some new characters like Madame Maxime, Fleur Delacour, Cedric Diggory, and Viktor Krum in addition to the usual Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Dumbledore, and itâs a lot of fun seeing everyone in their dress robes. While it annoys me that LEGO is continuing their trend of giving the Trio stubby legs, which makes them hard to integrate with earlier minifigures, the plain black legs on Ron and Harry are easy to swap out for longer ones.
A fun set whether youâre an old hand at the LEGO Harry Potter series or are just discovering it, I absolutely recommend it!

Beautiful addition to Hogwarts
As a fan of Harry Potter since the 90s, I feel like I have been waiting for a Yule Ball set my entire life. This one does not disappoint. It is a beautiful addition to the modular Hogwarts in this line, and is filled with great figures and rooms we haven't seen before.
The exterior is intricately designed, and works well for display, but the interior has a really nice variety of rooms related to movies 3 and 4. I enjoyed the build of Dumbledore's office (it's finally round this time!), but it is a bit small. The DADA classroom is a really well-done spot that can be repurposed for whatever class you choose, It's also really nice to have this class and the potions class (in the whomping willow set) to give your minifigures a full schedule! The real treat for me, aside from the gorgeously detailed Youll Ball figures, are the hospital wing and the prefect's bathroom. We haven't seen either of them in lego so far, and they're both extremely detailed, but also leave enough room to still be "playable".
The biggest improvement I noticed about this set is that the rooms are notably larger than those in the Great Hall tower. There is lots of room to play and also to really remodel rooms with your own scenes. I'm thinking of instialling a gryffindor tower into dubledore's office, or possibly using the pieces to create a library.
Lastly, the variety of figures makes this a must-have for any Potterhead. YULE BALL HERMIONE! FINALLY! Also I love Dumbledore in the purple robes, Ron's detailed, but horrid robes, and Fleur's dress. I wish we would have gotten a Parvati, to take Harry to the Ball, but maybe she'll come in a minifigure set if Lego does Harry Potter Series 2.
I absolutely recommend this set, and find that for the level of detail, size and figure assortment, it is well worth the price.

The first step of a great castle
I have been collecting Harry Potter legos since 2001 and this is the greatest sets I have bought together with the great Hall. The opportunity to build it as modules that you can connect together with other lego Harry potter sets like the great hall is a great idea. I love how you can connect this set to the great hall set, it just looks awesome. I hope many more connectable sets like this one will come over the years.
I always longed for the idea of building a giant/complete Hogwards castle. With the coming out of the Hogwarts castle 71043, I thought that my dream had finally become a reality. But 500$ is a lot to spend at once, and most of all, after seeing at the lego store, I found that the minifigures were too small for the set to really be playable.
With this set, lego gives us a much more playable set. It is also much easier to absorb the cost of each set over the years, if they release more. Next in line, I hope they release the Griffindor common room and the moving staircases together. I am thinking two floors of moving staircases (it was done beautifully in the 71043 set) topped by the common room on the 3rd floor and the dormitory on the 4th floor. This would give a kind of combination between the lego tree house 21318 and the Hogwarts Clock Tower. Yes, 4 floors is high, but Hogwarts has many high towers and this would be an awesome addition the the Clock Tower and Great hall.

Hogwarts Clock Tower
My son loved this Lego set.He got it for his birthday, he said he really liked it. He was 8 when he got it.
It took him two days to build it.
I would recommend this set for other kids his age.

Great addition to Harry Potter LEGO collection
My 12 yo daughter saved up and bought this to add to her other Hogwarts Lego sets. She built it quite quickly and has so far really enjoyed the neat features, such as the wind-up clock, the swirling dance floor, and the hospital wing. She really liked the classrooms (more space than the other sections of Hogwarts) and the expressions on the characters' faces. One note: she did say Hermione's 'feet' come off really easily when you put her down so prying these off with the prying tool is necessary. (i.e. don't lose your tool...). Overall a great set with loads of fun for HP fans!

Best Set Ever!!!!!!!!!!
This set was one of my best purchase's I have ever made. I had so much fun building it and even more fun playing with it. It may not look impressive in the pictures but it is excellent in person. I found it bigger in lots of spots like Dumbledores office. There is room behind the chair with a sticker of the sorting hat and Fawkes. overall one of the best sets I have purchased.

Fantastic set - great build and play value
I collect the HP LEGOs and this is one of my very favorite sets. Fantastic build with lots of details and intricate work. Love the prefect's bathroom, Moody's classroom, and the hospital room. Love the snowy tree and icicle-covered tables. The whole Yule ball theme is great. Highly recommend!!

Great addition to Harry Potter line
Great set and really enjoyable build. It is nice to see that LEGO expands their modular Harry Potter line, however that comes with slight negative- if you add all three modular sets together, it becomes little bit too long and look almost like 2d representation of the Hogwarts castle. It would be nice if LEGO expanded this modular line little bit into height and space, to bring the castle to more 3D dimension :) Also it almost dwarves the tower that comes with Great Hall, which is supposed to be at least twice as high according to the movies.
But hey this is mostly play set. People that want more realism can always buy the whole Hogwarts Castle set, so all above is just minor thing. As standalone, this set is amazing

Wonderfull Clocktower
I love this Clocktower. i am not a harry Potter Fan, but i like the idea that you can connect this Clocktower with the other Sets from Hogwarts.
here you receive a lot of nice minifigs. Some Legs of the minifigs i dont like, the could be made better. but overall you have nice minifigs in nice dresses.
the Clocktower is fun to build. its pity that they are some stickers and not prints. you receive here a nice building..with some nice rooms with a lot of details.
the dance table its a nice idea..and it looks good when the minifigs are dancing. If you are a friend of Castles..then buy this set

Nostalgic Build
I haven't bought a new lego set in 10 years. But I needed a new hobby to keep me busy in the evenings and this really brought me back. The details in this set are fantastic, particularly the Prefect's Bathroom. Looking forward to future sets.

Love it!!!
I have purchased a many of the Harry Potter builds in the past and have loved them all. So I had to have this one. Over all a very nice build and the end product is fantastic. The only thing I wish was better would be if the dancers and the clock would turn at the same time, All in all very happy I purchased!!

Impressive set!
This set has some great examples of how the Lego team cleverly uses existing pieces to create new features and I enjoyed discovering all of them. Additionally, the printed clock face and bathroom window sticker are delightful installments. The clock tower's facade is impressive, and covers a sturdy, solid building that is a must-have to complete the Hogwarts grounds. It is apparent that the planning team did a good job of including all of the important rooms into each building. There are a good amount of figures to pose in the Yule ball. Amazing gift for Potter fans, but careful because it is extremely addicting! I was not satisfied until i had the entire collection. It looks amazing so far!
