Kyle Ren’s Rickety Canoe
I bought this for my son and helped him assemble it. I would describe the build experience as frustrating at best. Specifically bag 7 with the red supports: if you miss one of the pivots you’ll be taking the wing apart to get it out.

Play value will be limited because of how flimsy the assembled set feels. If you fold the wing tip down incorrectly plates will go flying. The entire thing rattles like a mid 80’s sedan. I’ve found this to be true of many of the Star Wars builds, though. The design team for these sets should go visit with the Creator Expert team. Every time I’ve assembled a Star Wars set I feel as if I need to go get extra vaccinated beforehand. All of my Creator sets feel extra solid. Even the Space Station feels more solid, and it’s nothing but pieces sticking out.

At least it didn’t have stickers (I’m looking at you, upcoming Razor Crest.)

I was gifted this set for Christmas by my girlfriend and I have to say its probably my number 1 favourite set I now own to date. There was a few tricky bits in the build but they were quick to resolve.
I would highly recommend this set for any star wars lego fan. It's a lovely addition to any lego collection.

AWESOME
This set was so fun to build! We built this over a few nights. With 1005 pieces it was a great way to spend time with the family! All the pieces were included, none missing or damaged. This set is pretty big when complete. It is about 16 inches tall and about 20 inches wide!! However you are able to fold the wings up by turning the engine knobs , therefor making it easy to store in a shelf - if you can stop playing with it long enough! We love that it has space in the cockpit for three minutes figures! That is a big plus at playtime when you defending the galaxy! There are six mini figures and I have to admit the red Sith Trooper is our favorite. The all black color of the shuttle makes this ship look even more menacing. However if you are used to separating colors before building there is not much to separate. Some of the steps were a bit complicated for our child to do in his own but with a little help and guidance from an adult we got it completed.
Overall this is a great set. Be ready to spend a few hours building but it is totally worth it when it is complete. You will have many hours playing with this shuttle!

I love this Shuttle so much!
Black, Sleek looking. Stealth looking. Love the way the wings open out and close. Just like they did from beginning of Force Awakens to the end. Awesome figure collection.

Not complaining about this one at all. Thanks Lego!

Good way To Pass Time And Build An Army
I bought this set a few days ago because I’m growing a Star Wars first order/last order Army. I was pleased with the mini figures, general pride and the knights of ren were what I enjoyed seeing the most. It has great playability with the foldable wings. I’m disappointed that the set didn’t contain a hair piece for Kylo Ren despite him having two expressions under his helmet. The fabrics of the capes was also rough and unpleasant. I did enjoy building the set and it filled my afternoon. I don’t think the 10+ age recommendation is correct as I could definitely see a 10 year old struggling with a set that contains so many features (especially the wings)

It's a pretty big set. The wings are better then the first Command Shuttle and more flexible. The Kylo Den figure looks cool with the red cracks. Mine came with the angry side of his face uneven. The knights of ren figures are my favorite. The weapons are long but they look nice. The sith trooper looks nice with his red armor and unique blaster. The General Pryde figure and regular trooper are ok. The ship only fits 3 figures. The back part of the ship doesn't hold any figures because it has the spring that moves the wings. Overall it's a good ship and a fun build.

Favorite Set of the Year
I would say that for anyone who loves Kylo Ren or the First Order, this set is a no brainer. The ship looks amazing in all stages, whether with the wings folded and straight up for landing or unfolded and angled for flight. The interior feels much roomier compared to Krennic's shuttle and is easy to open up. I do wish it included landing gear/flaps at the bottoms of the wings like the 2015 shuttle did, without them this one sits very low to the ground when landed. The building process did not feel as tiring or repetitive as I was expecting and overall I enjoyed the experience of putting it together.

The 6 minifigures all are very well detailed. Kylo is a great minifigure, I love the new helmet print. The 2 Knights of Ren alone were a major reason for me wanting this set and both look fantastic, especially the exclusive helmet mold. General Pryde has a great face print and a very nice gunmetal gray uniform. The Sith Trooper looks better in person than I thought based on the pictures and has great prints.

This set is easily my favorite that I've bought this year, winning out over Vader's Castle, and even likely my favorite Star Wars vehicle that I own. I highly recommend the set to all with interest in the Dark Side characters.

The new Kylo Ren’s shuttle is greatly and elegantly detailed. It includes spring loaded shooters, and the correct colors for the ship. It contains 3 seats, and a ramp for the minifigures to climb down. The best part of the set is the wings. When you pick up the set, the wings change positions. If you twist the right jet engine, you can adjust the position. Furthermore, on the wings, you can twist a piece to fold them into landing position. Overall, this is an excellent, and great all around set.
