GREAT HEATER - EFFICIENT, ZERO ISSUES, GREAT HEAT SETTINGS
I'm honestly not sure why anyone would have any complaints about this heater - as stated on the box/ad/indepedent consumer websites, 2000w is perfectly adequate for heating a medium to large sized room, hallways, etc. I try not to place the heater near/under windows, because even though it's claimed by independent consumer sites that the convection takes the cold air and heats it, I've found this option LESS efficient than placing the heater away from windows. I (tested though) haven't had to use the fan - and won't - as the convection part is all I was after. However, I've not found the fan to be loud - certainly nothing like what some others have said. I think it's quieter than fan heaters (and the fan on a large radiant heater I owned, which really was loud/annoying and a pretty pointless 'feature'). If the fan on this heater is keeping anyone awake, maybe they're a very light sleeper (or the heater needs checking?). I've owned the previous 'version' of this heater as well for approx three years now - same heat/thermostat options (no fan though), slightly different design/vents - and it's served me so well it's why I've opted for this one. 750 watts (lowest setting) heats a study/single bedroom VERY fast and maintains the temp well (I use my older one in a study, which is equivalent in size to a single bedroom, will fit a double/queen bed and drawers/chair, or cupboard/chair, or desk/chair - though not much else). 750 watts also heats my medium-large sized bedroom - I turn it on when it gets dark and leave it on overnight, and it doesn't overheat the room/me NOR break the bank. I prefer this to using an electric blanket. I used my older model of this heater in my open plan kitchen/dining area before it got winter colder and I migrated to other rooms, and 750 watts was adequate in there as well. The second setting, 1250 watts, heats my bedroom faster, though is too hot if left on - I overheat and the thermostat is getting more work. 1250 watts and the highest setting of 2000 watts will heat/maintain the heat in my large sized lounge. I personaly find the convection type of heat better than fan or radiant heaters. I think radiant heaters are good for up close/personal warmth before heating the rest of the room, though I find they're less efficient than a convection heater for heating an area FAST. I personally find oil column heaters a waste of time/money. Note that this heater is also good for personal warmth, as the panels do get warm and put out heat. If placed behind/near a chair/couch (though not so close things will fall on it!), my experience owning two of these heaters (using them in different rooms), is you'll be very toasty warm. Zero complaints whatsoever, and the low purchase price is an added bonus.
PLUS - IT HAS A THREE YEAR WARRANTY.
However - obviously larger rooms, and things like draughts/insulation are going to be factors re how fast a room is to heat and maintain warmth of; plus whether there is any moisture/dampness in the air, because a damp house is harder to heat (i.e. any condensation on windows is not helping). Well fitted curtains are really important as well, especially in older/less insulated homes; draught stops at bottom of doors, sealing around window frames (where frame meets wall), fitting foam on windows where there are gaps when closed, checking for gaps in skirting at the base of walls, etc. Checking/fixing/changing these things has made a significant difference to how quickly my house is to heat and keep warm, so thought I'd mention it in case it helps someone else.

Good heater bit noisy when fan is on but for the price it does a good job warms my open plan kitchen and sitting room pleased with purchase

Heater was okay but not very powerful even with fan on. Probably would be good for just over night to take the chill off.

This is a great heater. Heats bedroom quickly and takes chill off hallway. Very quiet but haven't had to use fan as yet.

We have a big rumpus size room and it does a great job of heating the whole space quickly. It doesn’t make a lot of noise, and is a great size for storing away.

Very quiet? Mine sounds like a jumbo jet taking off.

Quiet and efficent
Great heater. It is very quiet, and the thermostat setting works perfectly. Wonderful to be able to use overnight and not end up sweaty from it being on, or freezing because we had to turn it off. Easily heats and maintains a 12m^2 bedroom with large bay windows. Feet were easy to attach, and no harsh smells on first use.
