After reading the reviews for this set. I took the time to prepare each piece by re-drilling each hole, this made all the difference during assembly. The main problem was no guide holes in the underside of the table which means you have to go by feel.
Once together, it’s a great looking set.

An assembly nightmare but by determination and fortitude the errors in manufacture were eventually overcome and this story had a happy ending- A beautifully assembled table and chairs gracing my deck.

Setting looks really nice and great that it comes with the cushions to match, but it’s HORRIBLE to assemble. Previous furniture I’ve bought like this has metal threads to receive the bolts but in this one they bed straight into the wood. Which would be okay if they were better quality and not driven by a crummy little allen key. I had four connection points where the holes didn’t line up and damaged three of the bolts because you can’t get any good leverage when doing them up. Ended up getting it together after getting some much better quality allen keys and biting them into the metal hard before tightening. This assembly method really isn’t suitable without extra tools. A shame to make the experience so poor.

The furniture looks really great, but it’s a nightmare to put together. The drill holes didn’t match up so it was hard to screw the screws in. The screws were also bad quality we had to replace a couple. And the cut out bits on the chair backs that you are meant to slide into place weren’t cut to size properly and we had to sand them down.
