DIGITAK TYRE GAUGE. Had high hopes due to useful measurement units & fact it was accurate & digital. Probably the supplied batteries have stuffed it.
Thought this was an ideal unit to buy due to it providing multiple measuring units, ie psi, kg/cm2, bar, and kPa. Worked fine for a short time (a month or so), then wouldn't work at all. Found one battery was all corroded at the front. Cleaned it with a cloth and tested and both were 1.5v. So all good....next month on a long trip tested no go. Same corrosion issue. Cleaned again worked then started showing 70+ psi etc with no pressure on it. Had enough taking it back. Rubbish batteries supplied with it have probably stuffed it. New Eveready ones didn't fix it.
