Goes off for no apparent reason
I have a different model (mine is OM625H-LS) but it started going off at random times despite their being no-one and definitely no smoke/fire in the room. No good

Goes off for no reason. Waste of money.
Bought about a year ago. Has started going off randomly for no reason. It's not because of steam etc because it does it when no one is even home! Useless having a ten year battery when it glitches after a year. It has gone off three times this week for no reason at all.

Poor Quality - battery does not last 1 year
Installed 4 of these at tail-end of 2019. Now it's May - 2020 and all the 4 have randomly started chirping......THIS IS JUST EXPENSIVE JUNK!!!

Battery lasted 4 years
Purchased April 2016, battery started doing "low battery chirp" April 2020. As others said this seemed to happen on the first colder night of the year, so is temperature related. Guide says this happens if temperature below 6 degrees. It was 18 degrees. I understand 10 years could be a target, but I was hoping for at least 6 or 8. Will be returning.

Randomly going off
As others have noted, mine has also started going off randomly - no smoke, no fire, no smells. Can't work out why.

Do not buy these.
Known problem last only one and half years then go off ramdomly at night as temp drops. Expensive and frustrating as need replacing. Do nit recommend.

waste of money
don't recommend these at all I brought four of them and suddenly they have started to go off randomly for no reason which is really annoying especially at 4 or 6 in the morning. Would not buy again and now ill have to pay more money to buy new ones which will defiantly be a different brand
