Not so Smart

While it fits my need for a smaller TV, I am extremely disappointed that the casting feature requires an outside APP, unlike my other 55 inch SONY TV. The APP does not fully allow casting from other sources.

NOT a very smart TV

Not convinced this one should really have "smart TV" on the box. Yes it has Wi-Fi, but that will only give you YouTube. No adding apps like TVNZ on demand etc.Only useful as a monitor for a Chromecast, which kind of defeats the purpose of a "Smart TV" :/

We'll definitely be tossing this one in a kids room and getting an actual "Smart TV" for our room.

Great little tv, perfect for the bedroom, rumpus room or man cave. Excellent sound quality, sharp picture and easy to use. In order to get the Freeview working, you do need a separate ariel or little device that costs around $99 but you can still use YouTube and Netflix without the ariel add on. Very happy I bought this tv, no more fighting with the kids over the lounge tv, I have my own tv now! 😊

32 inch TV

Even though this is not the latest technology TV, it is a good basic product. I wanted a 32" TV due to space limitation.

Worst tv I’ve ever owned

This is the worst tv I’ve ever purchased in my life. It has no App Store so you only get the apps that come with it (YouTube, Netflix and a browser) the browser is not worth trying to use, it’s horrendous to navigate and takes so long to load anything. The tv has only 2 hdmi ports to connect ur computer too. You cannot do it wirelessly. If you lose the remote there is no way to turn the tv on as it has no buttons on the tv. The Netflix button on the remote works once in a blue moon. Yesterday the tv deleted Netflix, YouTube and the browser and now it can only be used as a digital tv for live tv so it is no longer a smart tv (not that it was smart in the first place). It’s honestly the worst tv I’ve ever had in my life and I’m so disappointed I wasted my money on it. It’s awful and it really should be recalled, I can’t believe this tv is labelled a “smart tv”. Please do not buy this product

Purchased 09/07/2020.
Used purely for Netflix and YouTube etc for daughters bedroom. Have not hooked up to Sky. Unlike other purchasers, we’ve had absolutely no issues with this tv. Picture is clear and no stalling whatsoever.

Great TV all around; picture, sound,and easy setup

This is my second KDL32W600D. I like the first one so much (which I still have of course) that when another tv went bad; I didn't hesitate to purchase another duplicate. Quality picture, clean and crisp audio, easy set up and BOOM you're there.

Cool Sony TV

I picked the 32in TV since it was an ideal for our small room. The quality was superb though the unit was introduced 4 years ago. Its quite old for the technology nowadays but still The picture quality is awesome.

Pretty dumb for a Smart TV

Have had this for about a year Sony removed Opera from the already pathetic "Store" which also removed Plex which is one of the reasons I bought the TV.

Only thing it can be used for now is Netflix and Youtube which is pretty limited.

Quality of image is ok but I could have picked up something a lot smarter for less.

Had this tv not even 3 weeks and have had to factory rest twice. Freeview on demand no longer works (I don't even get the option to open it). No longer picks up my WiFi which is not even 5 steps away. Also won't allow me to turn the TV up or down whilst on YouTube. Will be taking it back to see if it's faulty and requesting a different tv and different brand.

Great Picture

I love the 32" Sony! It fits into my room really well. I bought it for the stand that fits my roll around table. That way I can watch it when I exercise in the morning on my tread mill. I have added a Boston Acoustics sound system I had on my one of my older Sony Computers. It works really well.

Wish I had of read the reviews prior to purchasing. Only got it for netflix and usb for my kids. Usb works fine, as for netflix, laggy as hell, pixelates all the time. Connection error so it says but that's not the case, it's just the tv itself. Works fine on the ps4 though. Don't buy it waste the money

TV great, but not that Smart

It's a 2016 model and I bought mine early 2017. Watching normal TV is great. FreeviewPlus (OnDemand) is shocking and freezes every few minutes so I have to exit app and start app again, and this often crashes TV - black screen and no controls work, so needs to be frequently rebooted (unplug wait 10 mins plug in and turn on) . I do not bother with OnDemand anymore. I have also done many factory resets, which do not solve any of the issues. Luckily, Netflix works on mine, though some dreadful pixelation at times, but not too often. It uses Linux as the OS not Android, and has Opera as the browser which doesn't work well. Sony has been unable to solve these problems either, as I have been in frequent contact with them over the years. I suspect this model is not the best, and the technology is rather outdated for 2020.

Freezes on "TV One On Demand"

A good price point for a basic 'smart' tv with less than HD screen, but it's quirky with what apps it will show. Some streaming apps work well, others like "On Demand" don't load at all! But I guess we all get what we pay for...

Good TV. I'll call it a smart dumb tv as has some apps like Netflix and Youtube but unable to install any other apps. There is no casing from devices to tv either. Overall a good basic tv.

Sony Smart TV.

I've waited a wee while to see if this tv would do what the other 2 reviewers have said has happened to them. Well, thankfully it's not been as bad as that. Yes, it has sort of 'frozen'. But sometimes it corrects itself within seconds. I've never had to unplug it from the mains. Nor have to take it for factory reset. The colour seems to be fine and audio meets all my requirements. So, I'm happy. If any of those things do happen in the future, I will update my review.
