I found a factory menu setting that removes the blur (VIP under QMAP Adjust) but as soon as you change input or a setting it goes back to the way it was. So unless you like entering the factory menu every time you change something, it's not a solution.
See attached photos for what 4k really looks like (VIP = OFF) and this TV's version of 4k (VIP ON)
Now I did some tests, does 4k actually look better than 1080P on this TV? Well the answer is yes, but its not by a lot. 1 pixel = 3x3 at 4k and 3x4 at 1080P. But because you can move that blob by 1 pixel at 4k vs 2 pixels at 1080P, it does look slightly better.
So obviously not recommended for 4k but looks great with 1080P sources.
If someone knows how to contact the OEM to get a permanent patch, the setting to change is VIP_HLPF 0x3 to OFF and VIP_VLPF_coef2 0x3 to OFF.
On a side note, this does support 2160p60hz and 444 croma on HDMI3

BAD/ black bars and space movies, you will notice a bit of graying, in area's, same old thing with many expensive TV's to.
Overall this TV is very clean to watch, good price, you cant beat it, and a 3 year warranty, I purchased this for a kids room, entertainment area, PC connected to it, works a treat, would recommend at this price.
