Haven't bought the TV yet, but Edward D should Google the difference between 4k ultra and smart tv, then maybe he will understand why it doesn't connect to the internet?

With a small adjustment of the colour / sharpness this TV looks great, and is a decent quality for the price, and with a 3 year warranty, its unbeatable. Highly recommended.

I bought this to use as a monitor for my unix computer as I have been using a 40" Panasonic 1080p TV I inherited as a monitor for a few years and found it was fine if I turned the sharpness setting to minimum. A 55" 4K computer monitor costs at least $1600. Unfortunately this 58" Veon does not have good resolution at the pixel level like my Panasonic TV, changing the sharpness did not help much. The old saying "if it's too good to be true..". It is fine for larger fonts and pictures. The output of xrandr through a HDMI 1.4 connection for the Veon is:

You need HDMI 2.0 or higher to get 60Hz at 4K, which is why xrandr only shows 30Hz for 3840x2160 (I was going to upgrade my graphics card). The default refresh rate at 3840x2160 might be either 50Hz or 60Hz (my Panasonic TV supports 50 and 60 but 50Hz is default). 4096x2160 is listed but displays distorted, the native resolution is 3840x2160.

Attached are pictures of some small terminal text on the Veon which is blurry, and then my Panasonic TV. The Warehouse as usual are good with returns and took my return the day after I bought it.

Bought this model today, finding it a good buy for the money, sound ok if adjust the bass up to around 90.Picture quality is good

TV is okay but after 2 days I now have a stuck pixel tried every technique to remove it but it persists. So now it's spoiled.

Just scored one for 499 last week and im very happy.

good TV for good price although make sure it can fit on your TV stand min 120cm the standard are part. picture is amazing for HD content although if your using standard default then picture looks pixelated.

goes silent with every change of channel, I would not recommend this, it's so annoying
