Seasonal Cause
Every few months, The Warehouse runs a seasonal fundraising campaign online and in stores to drive support for a specific initiative and/or charity partner. While the cause in focus may change with the seasons, the ultimate goal of each campaign remains the same: helping Kiwis live better every day.
Cause goal: Provide 170 Christmas gifts to Kiwi kids in need
Christmas is a time to celebrate with friends and family, but for thousands of New Zealanders living in hardship, stretching the budget to buy gifts and share a special meal together can be out of reach. To support Women’s Refuge and Variety, our annual ‘Be the Joy’ campaign helps bring cheer to Kiwis struggling over the festive season.
Each purchase you make will go towards raising funds to purchase gifts for kids who would otherwise go without, as every Kiwi kid deserves to wake up to a gift on Christmas Day. Learn more about our Be the Joy campaign here.
Education
Cause goal: Help to insipre 2,400 children to live happy, healthy lifestyle.
Life Education is a charity that educates and empowers tamariki to make positive choices for their health and wellbeing. Through engaging lessons in mobile classrooms, tamariki are given tools and knowledge to help them live happy and healthy lives now and into the future.
Every year they teach over 250,000 children about resilience, relationships, their identity, food and nutrition, and helpful and harmful substances.
Wellbeing
Cause goal: Support the valuable work of Whānau Āwhina Plunket.
Whānau Āwhina Plunket is the largest provider of free support services for the development, health and wellbeing of children under five in New Zealand.
They see more than 90% of newborns in New Zealand each year, and offer parenting information, support as well as developmental assessments of your child.
Their nurses provide support through home and clinic visits, mobile clinics and PlunketLine, a free telephone advice service for parents.
Whānau Āwhina Plunket also organises parent groups, parenting education and toy libraries, drop in centres, playgroups and education in schools – most of which are available nationwide and free of charge.
Growth
Cause goal: Help support 15 kiwi kids for a full year.
For 1 in 5 Kiwi kids, the everyday impact of poverty means that they cannot realise their full potential.
Variety - the Children’s Charity opens the door for them to live a healthier, happier life.

Planet
Cause goal: Help us remove 30,000L of litter from the coastlines of Aotearoa.
Sustainable Coastlines is a registered New Zealand charity who delivers coastal clean-up events, educational programmes, public awareness campaigns, and riparian planting projects. They have invested significant effort in delivering education programmes aimed at changing behaviour to reduce litter and freshwater pollution by working with volunteers, interns, ambassadors and local community groups to enable them to deliver these activities in their own communities.
