Preventing Damage

While the composite granite material is generally resistant to most ordinary use cases, we advise avoiding the following as this may affect your warranty claim.

  • Avoid placing pots, pans and other hot objects in excess of 280ºC on the surface of the sink.
  • Avoid putting very hot and very cold objects on the sink at the same time as this can cause thermal shock.
  • Do not use the sink as a cutting surface.
  • Avoid letting heavy or pointed objects fall on the surface of the sink.
  • Do not pour alcohol, petrol, strong acids (especially trichloroacetic acid), strong bases or any solvents onto the sink.
