Astaxanthin - As nature's most powerful antioxidant astaxanthin works to reduce inflammatory compounds that drive many chronic diseases, making it a very potent natural anti-inflammatory. Without all the nasty side effects of prescription anti-inflammatories, Astaxanthin works to reduce inflammation throughout the body by controlling free radicals and cell damage.

Phosphatidylcholine - Astaxanthin and many other carotenoids are fat soluble which is why phosphatidylcholine has been included to enhance the bioavailability of the astaxanthin. Such phospholipids have been shown to increase absorption by nearly 12 fold compared to stand alone Astaxanthin. One needs phosphatidylcholine to protect nerve cell function, and astaxanthin protects the phosphatidylcholine from harmful oxidation.

Olive Oil - Astaxanthin is a fat soluble carotenoid which requires fat to be absorbed. Olive oil has been included in each capsule as a healthy source of fat to bind to the Astaxanthin to help improve absorption.

Adults: Take 2-3 capsules per day with dietary fat.

Astaxanthin requires fat for optimal absorption so take with a fat-containing meal.
