Protecting workers in our supply chain

Like our customers, we care about doing the right thing – not only in New Zealand but everywhere we operate.

We have a responsibility to protect the welfare of workers in our supply chain and in 2004, we voluntarily established an ethical sourcing programme, making us one of the first large companies in New Zealand to do so. Since then, we’ve been on a journey to continually improve and extend the scope and effectiveness of the programme, including joining international efforts to help drive change on a greater scale.

In addition to ensuring suppliers meet our robust policy and guidelines, we also participate in several programmes and initiatives that work to benefit the people within our supply chain.
